Suzy Wagner Joins Truman Center for National Policy as  Vice President of Communications

WASHINGTON D.C. - Truman Center for National Policy is happy to announce Suzy Wagner is joining as Vice President of Communications.

A media, advertising, and public relations executive, Suzy spent nearly a decade managing the Mid-Atlantic’s advertising division for TIME Magazine. She relaunched the Wall Street Journal’s advertising office, earning recognition as the top global advertising executive. She was tapped by Times Mirror to launch the Los Angeles Times in Washington, DC and during her tenure at the National Journal she built a robust advocacy business. Throughout her 25+ year career in Washington, Suzy has worked with a wide range of major consumer brands and media companies as well as across the federal government with a range of clients including the State Department, Department of Defense, and the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Prior to Truman, Suzy served over a decade as the president of Brand & Buzz, a full-service strategic communications consultancy focusing on brand building strategy, design and elevating awareness through high profile media engagements. She has worked with a wide variety of clients across the United States, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, including Fortune 100 companies, nonprofits, and government entities, producing content, shaping stories and creating strategies that resonate with stakeholder audiences. She is a frequent speaker, moderator, and communications trainer.

Suzy graduated with a degree in journalism from The George Washington University. She and her husband have three children and live in Arlington, Virginia. She is also the author of several children’s books.
