Maeve is a current graduate student at the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs pursuing a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies. She graduated with honors from Clemson University in 2020 with a B.S. in Political Science. During her undergraduate years, she interned at a number of places including the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones here in Washington, a non-profit organization in Singapore, and with the Clemson University Office of Central Donor Relations. She worked as a research assistant studying the treaty making process and completed her thesis on polarization within the U.S. Senate. Maeve’s academic interests include policy issues like climate change, international development, and water and food security.
