Ysbrant is co-founder and senior director at OpenRevolution LLC, a venture-backed mobile payments company with over 100 employees and experience in over 27 markets. With offices in Washington, DC and Tbilisi, Georgia, OpenRevolution is developing a multinational mobile payments network – with a particular focus on Eurasian markets. He previously worked as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton/ Booz & Company and as an associate director for international affairs at a DC-based think tank. He served as an advisor to the Iraq Study Group and the Project on National Security Reform. He was a fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency & Congress and a graduate fellow at the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. Interested in innovation and technology, he is an advisor and angel investor in a number of Bay-Area start-ups.
