Virginia Gomez

Ginny Gomez is government contracts and international law attorney.   Ginny works with virtually all aspects of federal procurement law, with a particular emphasis on export regulation, national security issues and small business and other socioeconomic regulatory concerns.  Ginny does an extensive amount of pro bono work primarily in the areas of U.S. veteran appeals and immigration legal aid.  Prior to law school, Ginny was an analyst with the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) where she researched and prepared materials for briefings with senior Pentagon officials concerning European defense industry issues and procurement practices, as well as researched and published materials related to U.S.-China security relations and deterrence issues among nuclear powers.  Ms. Gomez earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
