| Tony is currently the Deputy National Political Director of the Sierra Club - America's oldest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. Previously he was the Tennessee State Director for SEIU's successful grassroots lobbying effort to pass quality affordable healthcare for all, the Change that Works Campaign. Tony was also the National Political Director of the Young Democrats of America, where he oversaw peer-to-peer Democratic youth turnout campaigns, issue advocacy efforts, and collaborative operations with allied organizations. Prior to working for YDA, Tony was with the Arizona Democratic Party as their Non-Traditional Campaigns Director, where he was responsible for creating innovative ways to combine traditional field, volunteer, and online activism into one impactful effort. Tony's professional political career began in 2003 as one of the National Directors of Generation Dean, Dean for America's groundbreaking youth campaign. |
