Talia Dubovi
Talia Dubovi is currently
Appropriations Associate/Counsel for Congresswoman Nita Lowey. She covers a
wide range of foreign affairs issues and supports the Congresswoman in her work
as Ranking Member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign
Operations, and Related Programs. Before joining Congresswoman Lowey’s office,
Talia served as Counsel to the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security
and Foreign Affairs, and previously worked on human rights and judiciary issues
for Senator Richard Durbin. Prior to working in Congress, she was an associate
at Latham & Watkins LLP and a fellow with Human Rights Watch’s Refugee
Program. Talia is a member of the Board of Directors and co-chair of the
American Planning Board for Humanity In Action, an international non-profit
organization that works for the protection of the rights of minorities. She has
a B.A. from Amherst College and J.D. from the University of Michigan Law
School.
