Stacy Hope
Stacy Hope is the Senior Communications Advisor within the Press and Public Diplomacy team at the Delegation of the European Union in Washington, DC.
In this capacity, she focuses on communicating issues of strategic importance to the European Union effectively to key American audiences. Stacy counsels senior EU officials on developing successful communications programs; directs the Delegation's editorial strategy and serves as managing editor for Delegation periodicals; oversees Delegation alliances with major print and broadcast media partners and the academic community; and prepares articles, speaking points and presentations on behalf of the Ambassador and other senior Delegation officials.
Prior to joining the Delegation, Stacy led national and international marketing and communications programs for the British Council, the United Kingdom’s cultural relations organization. She has also held managerial positions with the Institute of International Education and the National Association of Home Builders.
Stacy launched her career in communications at Golin / Harris, an international public and media relations firm. She holds a BA from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a professional diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
