Stacey Chavis is President of The Stacey Chavis Company, a general political consulting, strategy and training firm. Stacey serves as political strategist, speaker and trainer. She assists candidates with campaign strategy and development. Stacey has become a sought after keynote speaker in the area of leadership. Stacey also provides leadership development trainings for leaders and elected officials.

Previously, Stacey served as Southern Regional Director for the White House Project. She oversaw all programming in the Southern region including political leadership trainings, fundraising events and partnership trainings. Stacey was responsible for producing the largest training in White House Project history with 175 participants in 2009. In two years, Stacey trained over 2,000 women to run for elected office, work on campaigns and lead in their communities.

Stacey also served as the Deputy Finance Director for the Democratic Party of Georgia. She served on the team to organized one of the largest Jefferson Jackson dinners in Georgia’s history in 2008 where then United States Senator Hillary Clinton was the keynote speaker. Stacey directed the Georgia delegation selection process for the Democratic National Committee Convention held in Denver, Colorado in 2008.

During the 2006 primary and run-off elections, Stacey served as Finance Director for Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA 4th) and was responsible for tracking over a half million dollars in campaign funds. She worked as Constituent Services Representative for former Congresswoman Denise Majette (D-GA 4th) gaining expertise in congressional politics and constituent services. Stacey has worked for the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia and the Social Security Administration. Stacey has extensive experience in the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government.

A native of Mauldin, South Carolina, Stacey received a B.A. in Psychology with a Political Science minor from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta Georgia.
