Sarah Holewinski

Sarah Holewinski is the Executive Director of CIVIC (Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict), an organization working with warring parties to help civilians they have harmed in combat.  She began her career as a member of The White House AIDS policy team throughout President Clinton's second term, later  joined West Wing Writers-a firm of former White House speechwriters, and has consulted for Human Rights Watch, the William J. Clinton Foundation and the Institute for State Effectiveness. Sarah has worked in India, Rwanda, and has traveled to conflict zones around the world. Sarah received her degree in political theory from Georgetown and Masters in security policy from Columiba.  Sarah is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
