Sarah Barton
Sarah Barton began her career in U.S.
domestic politics, working on a national presidential campaign while completing
her undergraduate degree at New York University. After graduating, she spent
several years with the William J. Clinton Foundation, after which she joined
Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign as the Deputy Western Political
Director. Following the campaign, she consulted for a range of public affairs
clients with a focus on international and domestic politics and policy. In
2010, she graduated with an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of
Economics and Political Science, where she wrote her dissertation about
contemporary American military doctrine and human security. She rejoined the
Clinton Global Initiative in the spring of 2011 to manage the Veterans Working
Group for the inaugural CGI America meeting.
