Sarah Barton

Sarah Barton began her career in U.S. domestic politics, working on a national presidential campaign while completing her undergraduate degree at New York University. After graduating, she spent several years with the William J. Clinton Foundation, after which she joined Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign as the Deputy Western Political Director. Following the campaign, she consulted for a range of public affairs clients with a focus on international and domestic politics and policy. In 2010, she graduated with an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she wrote her dissertation about contemporary American military doctrine and human security. She rejoined the Clinton Global Initiative in the spring of 2011 to manage the Veterans Working Group for the inaugural CGI America meeting.
