Ronak D. Desai has written and published extensively on topics related to South Asia and the Middle East, particularly in the context of international security and is considered one of the leading scholars on US-India-Israel strategic relations. In addition to his extensive work on Capitol Hill, Ronak also served as political director to a DNC member-at large from 2006-2007. Ronak is an international advisory board member of Geopolitical Affairs, a foreign policy institute based in Europe, and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Leadership Program.   He is also a fellow at the Belfer Center’s “Project on India & the Subcontinent” at Harvard University. Ronak earned joint public policy and law degrees from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Law School from which he graduated magna cum laude. He currently practices law in Washington D.C.
