Rob Mishev is a general manager at LivingSocial.  He leads the San Francisco office where he is responsible for sales and marketing, business development, and strategic partnerships throughout the Bay Area.  Previously, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where he developed business strategies for technology and aerospace and defense companies and the U.S. government.  While at McKinsey, he spent significant time working on economic stabilization and development efforts in conflict-affected states, including making five trips to Iraq.  He also spent eight years in the active duty Air Force serving as a program manager of C4ISR programs, executive officer, U.S. Senate liaison officer, and an assistant professor of management.  He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.  He is currently a major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, serving as a military assistant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Research and Engineering Enterprise).
