Rishad Olpadwala is currently Director, M&A and Power Marketing at Acciona Energy North America. Acciona is a world leader in sustainable development with business lines focused on energy, water, and infrastructure. Rishad structures and negotiates off-take agreements for renewable energy power projects and leads transactions for wind and solar power project acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to his current role Rishad’s experience at Acciona included structured finance as well as solar power project development, including leading the development of Acciona’s first solar PV projects in North America. Rishad received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Society, emphasis Environmental Studies, and his Masters of Business Administration, from Cornell University. Rishad lives in Los Angeles.
