Nathan Gonzalez is Publisher and Executive Editor at Nortia Press—a global affairs publisher of fiction and nonfiction. In addition, he is a lecturer of Middle Eastern politics and international studies at California State University, Long Beach, and author of two books on the Middle East, Engaging Iran: The Rise of a Middle East Powerhouse and America's Strategic Choice and The Sunni-Shia Conflict: Understanding Sectarian Violence in the Middle East. Nathan holds a master of international affairs from Columbia University, and is currently finishing a doctorate in political science at UCLA. He speaks Spanish, Persian, German and Italian.
