Miro Vassilev
Miro Vassilev is a New York-based hedge fund investor focused on the infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors globally. Previously, he was an investment professional with Goldman Sachs in London and at a US special-situations hedge fund focusing on privatizations, restructurings and spin-offs. Miro graduated with an MPP in International Security Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was Kokkalis Fellowand Co-President of the Social Enterprise Club. He also received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, where he was Social Impact Management Fellow and helped lead the Wharton Program for Social Impact, focusing on the role of global business in enabling economicdevelopment in emerging markets. He has worked with the International Red Cross as Crisis Management Advisor in conflict zones and served as a co-founder and Project Director for Goldman Sachs’s Global Leaders Social Entrepreneurship Fund where he trained and funded entrepreneurs at high-risk in the post-war Balkans. Miro holds a Master’s degree from Oxford, where he was George Soros Scholar and British Chevening Fellow.
