Matt Segneri
Matt Segneri currently serves as a
Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Boston (Thomas Menino). He works on a range of
issues including service and civic engagement, safety and security, and innovation
and entrepreneurship. He joined the Mayor’s Office in August 2010 as an HBS
Leadership Fellow. Prior to joining the Mayor’s Office, he worked as a Special
Advisor at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He also worked for four years
as a project leader at Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm, where
he served domestic and international clients across the private, public and
social sectors. Matt graduated with honors from Harvard College in 2004 with an
A.B. in psychology and additional studies in economics and government. He also
holds an M.B.A. (2010) from Harvard Business School where he was Co-President
of the Social Enterprise Club. Matt was born in Peoria (Illinois), grew up in
South Florida and Southern New Jersey and now lives in the South End of Boston
with his wife Whitney.
