Mark Latonero

Mark Latonero is the Research Director at the Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy, University of Southern California. His research focuses on emerging communication technology and social change. Mark’s recent work examines technology and human rights and the use of social media by emergency management. The study, requested by U.S. Department of Justice, will inform future policy and practices within law enforcement, human services, and health care agencies. His work has been covered by Reuters, the Los Angeles Times, Congressional Quarterly, and CNN International.
