Luke Fuszard
Luke Fuszard was born and raised in the great State of Wisconsin to a family with a rich military history dating back to the Civil War. Following graduation from the University of Texas in 2004, Luke went to work for Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) in his bid for re-election. Luke traveled the state cultivating members for the group Veterans for Feingold and helping secure the endorsement of the VFW. He spent the next three years working in high technology in North Carolina and Oregon.
In 2007, Luke enrolled in a joint-degree Masters degree program at the Harvard Business School and John F. Kennedy School of Government. While attending Harvard he took classes from national security alumni of the Clinton administration and wrote policy recommendations for Secretary Gates. He spent the summer of 2008 working on Capitol Hill for the Joint Economic Committee where he contributed to reports on women in the military and the true cost of the Iraq War. In the summer of 2009 he will be returning to his home state of Wisconsin to work for Governor Doyle on numerous policy initiatives including reforming the state’s public education system. Upon graduation in 2010 he hopes to return to Madison and assume a leadership role in state government.
