Julie Maupin
Julie Maupin was a founding Board Member of the Truman Project. Julie has worked as the Relief and Development Project Manager for a small, faith-based NGO in Bosnia & Herzegovina, where she led wartime relief efforts and oversaw several small-scale reconstruction projects. Julie later served as the Sales Operations Manager for a Northwest retail company and as a Senior Human Capital Consultant for Monster Worldwide. She completed both a J.D. and an M.A. in Economics at Yale, where she focused on international law, human rights, and economic development issues surrounding trade and investment policy. Julie served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Kate O’Regan of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. She is presently a visiting fellow at the Trade Law Centre for Southern Africa, where she focuses on international investment, regional economic integration, and the effects of international trade on human development outcomes in Southern Africa.
