Julia Alexander is Chief Product Officer and oversees FSG’s six product lines: Strategic Research, Market Intelligence, Quantitative Research, Member Forums, the Expert Advisory Network, and Advisory Services. Julia was previously a mergers & acquisitions investment banker at Goldman Sachs. She also served in the Office of the Chairman at Goldman Sachs, working with the CEO on client relationship management and emerging markets strategy. Julia is Chairman of GoMa Ventures, an emerging markets social venture fund. She holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Julia has long-standing experience in Africa. She has worked with the Hospital for Special Surgery to launch the first orthopedic hospital in West Africa. She has also consulted to various financial institutions in the region. During the Clinton administration, Julia interned for the U.S. State Department's Bureau of African Affairs, and worked in the U.S. Congress focusing on the African Growth and Opportunity Act.
