Josh Marcuse

Joshua Marcuse is the founder and President of Young Professional in Foreign Policy (www.ypfp.org), a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of over 5,000 members with the mission of fostering the next generation of foreign policy leaders. As an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Josh provides strategy and technology advice to clients in the U.S. Government on a range of national security challenges, including the integration of defense, diplomacy and development. Previously, he worked as a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations. Josh is a Truman National Security Fellow and a member of Generation44. He is also a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the Aspen Socrates Society, and serves on the Board of Advisers of the Next America, project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He graduated from Dartmouth College; where he received the Chase Peace Prize for this thesis, The Arsenal of Democracy in the Age of Terror: Evaluating the Effectiveness of Military Assistance as a Counterterrorism Strategy. He is from New York City, and is looking forward to becoming a chef in his retirement.
