Josh Bendor
Josh Bendor is the Iowa Policy Director for Barack Obama's presidential campaign, where he previously worked as a Policy Associate. Prior to joining the Obama campaign, Josh was a research assistant with The Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution, where his work on domestic economic policy issues included education, health care, and energy policy. Before joining The Hamilton Project, Josh worked at a homeland security contractor, where he helped research and write the White House report on Hurricane Katrina. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale in 2005 with a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. While at Yale, he served as president of the Yale Debate Association and founded a Jewish-Muslim dialogue group. He grew up in Stanford, CA.
