Jonathan Reiber currently serves as Special Assistant to the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (PDUSDP), in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Policy). Jonathan previously served as a Research Manager at Ergo, a consulting firm specializing in emerging and frontier markets. At Ergo he coordinated scenario planning exercises and deep dive geopolitical analysis, advising Fortune 500 companies on the political and social affairs of South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Jonathan has  served with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Sudan and as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow in South Africa, Italy, India, Turkey and Cyprus, studying the role of religious communities in political and social change.  During Barack Obama's Presidential campaign, Jonathan was as an assistant to the Honorable Dr. Richard Danzig, focusing on U.S. foreign and defense policy in South Asia and the Middle East.  Jonathan is a graduate of Middlebury College and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
