Jeff Schoenberg

Jeff Schoenberg is the son of a USMA graduate and career Air Force officer. He attended Princeton University (A.B. in Politics) and UNC School of Law (J.D., cum laude) and practiced law at a large law firm before starting a development business of his own. Beginning in 1996, he became active in local electoral politics, serving variously as communications director and/or campaign strategist. From late 1998 to early 2003, Schoenberg served as Staff Counsel to U.S. Senator Max Cleland. His duties included constituent service, and liaising with key constituencies interested in transportation, agriculture, trade, environmental and emergency management and response issues. Upon Cleland's electoral defeat, he became District Director for U.S. Rep. Denise Majette, where he worked on political and environmental issues. In 2005, Schoenberg joined the staff of Cambridge Partners, a legal recruiting company. He currently works with law firms and corporations looking to hire experienced attorneys.
