Jason Manning
Jason Sharma Manning is an associate in the Litigation Department of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where his practice includes representing clients in financial litigation and matters arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Jason also co-teaches the Davis Polk / Columbia Law School asylum clinic. Jason took a leave of absence from Davis Polk in 2008-2010 to serve as a law clerk to the Hon. Laura Taylor Swain, U.S.D.J., S.D.N.Y. Before joining Davis Polk, Jason completed the MSFS/JD program at Georgetown University in 2007. During graduate school he served as an extern to the Appeals Division of the International Criminal Court and conducted primary research into security issues in Colombia and South Korea. Jason graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1998 and worked as an investment banker in New York and water polo coach in Australia before attending graduate school. He lives with his wife Anita and daughter Stacia in Brooklyn, New York.
