Jason Lewis-Berry
Jason Lewis-Berry is a Lead Foreign Affairs Officer in the State Department's Civilian Response Corps. With the State Department he has served as Chief of Staff of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team, led interagency planning/assessment missions in Mexico, Bangladesh, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), led strategic planning in Washington as part of the USG response to the Russian invasion of Georgia, and worked on public affairs in Morocco. Before joining the State Department, Mr. Lewis-Berry worked for an NGO in the DRC and Uganda, and as a policy consultant in Washington DC. Prior to foreign affairs, he worked as a journalist and film-maker in California and Oregon. Mr. Lewis-Berry holds a Master’s in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a BA in journalism from the University of Oregon. He speaks French.
