Jane Kang is counsel to Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Jane was previously the managing partner of a boutique law firm focusing on the cleantech/renewable energy sector and worked as a corporate attorney in the Tokyo and Silicon Valley offices of Latham & Watkins LLP and in the Seattle office of Heller Ehrman LLP.

Prior to private practice, Jane was a career State Department foreign service officer with postings to the American Institute in Taiwan and the U.S. Embassy in Japan, where she served as the Special Assistant to Ambassador Thomas S. Foley. Jane has also worked for U.S. Senators Byron Dorgan and Maria Cantwell, in the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington and in the Bureau of Political Military Affairs at the Department of State. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a lifetime fellow of the U.S.-Japan Leadership Program, an Atlantik-Brucke Young Leader and a French-American Foundation Young Leader. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and University of Washington School of Law, Jane speaks and reads Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese.
