Gwen Camp is the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the US Department of Homeland Security.

Gwen has held various positions in the US Senate, the US House of Representatives and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. In Congressman Patrick Murphy’s Capitol Hill office, she managed a legislative portfolio of immigration; foreign policy in Latin America, Europe and Asia; healthcare; education; women’s rights and appropriations.

She served as the Philadelphia Political Director for the Obama Campaign, managing political operations in the largest city in a key swing state. Gwen was also the Political Director for Congressman Murphy’s successful first race in 2006, managing scheduling and advance, surrogates, constituency groups and endorsements.

She has led workshops throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as a representative for Children’s International Summer Villages, Inc. and lobbied for the NGO at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

Gwen graduated from Rosemont College with a double major in Political Science and Spanish and a minor in Italian.
