Gideon Maltz
Gideon is currently a
senior advisor to the Administrator of USAID; he works closely with the chief
of staff to strengthen policy, strategy, and coordination on priority issues.
Previously, he was an associate at Hogan Lovells LLP, where he advised foreign
governments and leading multinational companies on international trade law and
policy. He has also served as a pre-doctoral fellow at Stanford's Center for
Democracy, Development and Rule of law; as a consultant for the National
Endowment for Democracy; as a graduate intern at the International Crisis
Group; as a business analyst at McKinsey and Company; and as a junior fellow in
the democracy and rule of law project at the Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace. He has a B.A. from Yale College and a J.D. from Stanford
Law School.
