Evan Pressman is a Partner and founding member of Ergo, a global primary research and consulting firm specializing in emerging and frontier markets. Ergo (www.ergo.net) combines internal expertise with insights gleaned from a global network of industry professionals and in-country teams to create custom solutions for clients, which include private equity firms, hedge funds and asset managers, Fortune 500 corporations, and NGOs. Before helping found Ergo, Pressman was a senior associate in Gerson Lehrman Group’s Global Political Risk unit. Previously, he was a journalist at CNN, where he was part of the team that received an Emmy award for its coverage of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York. He has degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where he was the John H.Hedges Fellow in Public Diplomacy, and Haverford College.
