Eric Wasserstrom is an Managing Director at the New York-based hedge fund Galleon Group. Prior to joining Galleon, he was an equity analyst at international investment bank UBS, covering the mortgage finance, specialty finance and regional banking industries. In this capacity, he was consistently acknowledged by Institutional Investor magazine as a member of its All-American Research Team. Prior to joining UBS, he worked in Bank Supervision and Regulation for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Wasserstrom served as commentator on economic policy for the New York Times during the presidential campaign. He is also a member of the board of directors of The New Group, a Tony-Award winning theater company in New York. He holds a BA summa cum laude from Tufts University.
