Eric Lesser is currently a first year student at Harvard Law School, and a Resident Tutor at Harvard College. From 2009-2011 Eric worked in the White House, for two years as Special Assistant to White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod, and later as the Director of Strategic Planning for the White House Council of Economic Advisers, where he helped develop and implement the Obama Administration's communications around economic policy. Prior to entering the White House, Lesser served as David Axelrod’s Special Assistant during the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition. From January 2008 through November 2008 Lesser worked as the Obama Campaign’s Ground Logistics Coordinator, where he was responsible for all equipment and other logistical support for then-Senator Obama, his traveling staff and traveling press corps, visiting forty-seven states, six countries, and traveling over 200,000 miles. From June 2007 through January 2008 Lesser was a member of Sen. Barack Obama’s Campaign Advance Team, where he was responsible for organizing Sen. Obama’s campaign events during the 2008 New Hampshire Primary. He graduated from Harvard College in 2007, where he served as President of the Harvard College Democrats and founded a public policy research center at the Kennedy School of Government’s Institute of Politics. He currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
