Elliot Hen-Tov
Elliot Hentov is a political economist with a specialization on the Middle East and CIS. From 2006-2010, Dr. Hentov served as an adviser to senior United Nations officials on Middle Eastern and European issues, first in the Department of Political Affairs and then in the Office of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General (Iraq Compact). Prior to the UN, he worked as a public sector management consultant at Roland Berger in Germany and as a risk manager at Marsh McLennan in New York. Dr. Hentov's publications have appeared in the New York Times, Financial Times, the Washington Times, The Washington Quarterly, the Middle Eastern Review of International Affairs and he has also been a featured speakerĀ at events sponsored by the Stimson Center, U.S. Institute of Peace, Council on Foreign Relations and New York University's Center for Global Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University and a Masters degree in international affairs from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
