Elizabeth Addonizio
Elizabeth Addonizio has worked at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division since 2006. From January 2009 through August 2010, she served on active military duty at U.S. Central Command, working on the personal staff of General David H. Petraeus as a strategic analyst and speechwriter. As an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, since 2004, she has supported the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group, the Navy Warfare Development Command, and the Office of Naval Intelligence. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Elizabeth conducted doctoral research at Yale University, researching behavioral approaches to voter turnout and was elected to serve two terms as the 9th Ward Alderwoman in New Haven, CT. As a Henry Luce Scholar, she worked in the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University and in the Economics Unit of the World Bank Resident Mission in Beijing, China. She has worked in the Western Hemisphere Directorate of the National Security Council and in the Latin American Affairs Division of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. She is a former Fulbright Scholar, and she holds a M.Phil in Political Science from Yale University, a M.P.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and a B.A. from Bucknell University. She currently lives in New York City.
