Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Douglas Campbell graduated with honors from Colorado State University - Pueblo with a degree in Political Science in 2001. Now living in Highlands Ranch with his wife and two boys, he is a Senior Manager in Fixed Income Product Management with Charles Schwab & Co, Inc. Doug also works as the Education Coordinator for the Douglas County Water Resource Authority, where he partners with public schools to educate students about regional water issues & solutions and promotes personal responsibility for water conservation. In addition, he serves on the Finance Committee of the Highlands Ranch Community Association, where he works to review and make recommendations regarding the financial statements, annual audit and $20 million budget process for one of the largest master-planned communities in the country. Doug has been active in local politics, including formerly serving as the Assistant Treasurer of the Douglas County Democrats and volunteering on a number of state and federal campaigns. He attended the 2007 class of the Colorado Institute for Leadership Training Program and was also a fellow in the 2004 Leadership Development Program for the Bighorn Center for Public Policy.
