Dean Tsilikas

Dean Tsilikas is the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications. He works closely with federal, state and municipal partners to advance Chicago's public safety and security policies and initiatives. He has assisted in the expansion of the city's crime reduction video surveillance program, "Operation Disruption," and its homeland security video surveillance initiative, "Operation Virtual Shield." Tsilikas also served in the West Wing Office of Political Affairs in the Clinton Administration, as well as in the Office of the Mayor for Richard M. Daley. A native Chicagoan, he holds a Bachelor's in Economics from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France and a double Master's degree in International Trade and Diplomacy from the Institute of Political Science of Paris.
