Daniel Goldsmith
Daniel Goldsmith is currently a Management Sciences Research Associate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Research Coordinator for a Department of Defense initiative at MIT and Harvard—Explorations in Cyber International Relations (ECIR), and the founder of DKG Analytics Group, a simulation-based consultancy. His research interests include system dynamics modeling, security studies, risk management, and business analytics.  His research sponsors include corporate, government, and academic institutions, such as SAP, Liberty Mutual, DARPA, IARPA, Air Force Research Lab, and the Masdar Institute. He has published on cyber security, state stability, renewable energy, and health care management, among other topics. In addition to his research positions, Daniel has worked at the United States Senate Armed Services Committee and the Fremont Group, a private equity firm. He holds an undergraduate degree in government from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Brandeis University International Business School. Daniel lives in Boston and enjoys cycling.
