Christy Gleason grew up with a passion for politics and international relations.  She earned a B.A. in political science with a minor in foreign policy from American University and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.  Christy spent much of the last 10 years working in Democratic politics and government roles at the local, state, and federal levels.  She served as Chief of Staff to three New Jersey legislators, Communications Director and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for New Castle County, Delaware, and Executive Director of the Camden County Democratic Committee in New Jersey.  In 2010, Christy managed Chris Coons’ campaign for United States Senate.  

Christy currently serves as senior advisor to Senator Coons, where she works on a wide variety of issues, including African affairs, labor, trade, and equality issues.  Christy is a proud Delawarean and frequent Amtrak commuter.
