Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson is the legal expert for the U.N. Security Council’s 1267 Sanctions Monitoring Team.  He advises the 1267 Committee regarding listing and de-listing procedures and the implementation of the sanctions measures worldwide.  Previously, Brian served as an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of the General Counsel, where he worked on economic sanctions and terrorism financing issues. A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Michigan Law School, Brian was an associate in the litigation and national security law groups at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, D.C. from 2002 to 2005.  He speaks Arabic and Spanish.
