Brad Belzak

Brad Belzak is currently based out of Cairo, Egypt and working for Deloitte Consulting advising clients in the Middle East and Asia. Previously, Brad served as Professional Staff Member to U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Prior to that, Mr. Belzak spent over five years at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security acting as a Senior Policy Advisor to Department leadership, first responder and Louisiana Deputy Chief of Staff during Hurricane Katrina recovery operations, and Intelligence Analyst at the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center.  During the 2008 presidential campaign, Brad was a Policy Advisor on the Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security Task Force for the Obama campaign.

He is a member of The International Institute for Strategic Studies and a recipient of the 2006 Manfred Woerner fellowship. Mr. Belzak holds a BA in Political Science from Elon University in North Carolina.
