Ashely Stover Tokic currently works as a Professional Staff Member of the Joint Economic Committee.  As a Policy Analyst, Ashely focuses on the intersection of U.S. Economic and National Security policy.  She was formally a National Security Legislative Aide in the personal office of US Senator Robert Casey. Prior to working on the Hill, she worked in Japan as an English teacher through the JET program and was a graduate researcher in the national security department at the Center for American Progress focusing on nonproliferation and defense policy. Ashely holds a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Ashely is from Atlanta, Georgia.
