Amir Farokhi

 

Amir Farokhi is Executive Director of GeorgiaForward, a non-partisan public policy initiative working to engage leaders to address the biggest policy challenges facing Georgia and collaborate on innovative policy solutions.  Prior to launching GeorgiaForward, Amir practiced litigation and international arbitration at McKenna Long & Aldridge.  He is a 2011 Marshall Memorial Fellow and was named a "Notable Georgian" by Georgia Trend Magazine.  Amir has had several op-eds on US-Iran foreign policy published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and appeared on nationally syndicated radio shows in 2009 in the wake of Iran's disputed elections.  Amir is a graduate of Duke University and Duke University School of Law.
