Alicia is an independent consultant and analyst in Washington, D.C.. Alicia accepted a Fulbright award to Jordan, where she studied advanced Arabic the Qasid Institute and conducted workshops in textiles for local women in Amman. She was also a Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) of Austin on issues relating to foreign affairs. She also worked as an International Development Officer for IMIFAP, a non-governmental organization in Mexico City. She received her undergraduate degree in Politics from Princeton University, with certificates in French, Political Economy, and European Politics and Society. She earned her Masters degree from L’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) in International Affairs, with a regional focus on Europe. Alicia was born and raised in Houston, Texas and she speaks Arabic, French, and Spanish.
