After nearly 3 years working on Capitol Hill, Alicia is currently on a Fulbright award in Jordan. She has worked as a Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) of Austin on issues relating to foreign affairs. She also worked as an International Development Officer for IMIFAP, a non-governmental organization in Mexico City. She received her undergraduate degree in Politics from Princeton University, with certificates in French, Political Economy, and European Politics and Society. She earned her Masters degree from L’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) in International Affairs, with a regional focus on Europe. Alicia was born and raised in Houston, Texas and she speaks French, Spanish, and Arabic.
