| Ajenai Clemmons serves as Policy Director for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, a Washington, D.C.-based research clearinghouse that represents over 600 African American state legislators. Ms. Clemmons serves on the Board of Trustees for the Women's Foundation of Colorado from where she recently emigrated. Prior to this position, Ms. Clemmons was an Ombudsman for the City & County of Denver's Office of the Independent Monitor, which monitored Internal Affairs investigations in the police and sheriff departments. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations, Latin American History, and Spanish from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and her Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver. |
