Adam Frankel

Adam Frankel is currently Special Assistant to the President and Senior Presidential Speechwriter. Prior to joining the White House, he served as a speechwriter with the Barack Obama for President campaign. He previously authored the report of the Angola Commission at the Council on Foreign Relations and also assisted Theodore C. Sorensen, former Special Counsel to President Kennedy, on his memoirs. A speechwriter on the Kerry campaign, Adam worked in the Office of Presidential Speechwriting at the White House and has written speeches for a number of political leaders in the United States and United Kingdom. A former AIDS activist in Africa and Asia, Adam was a Rosenthal Fellow in the Office of Counterterrorism at the State Department, and a consultant on "internationalization" policies for an Ivy League university. A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton, Adam received an MSc degree with distinction in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
