Aasil Ahmad
Aasil Ahmad is a
co-founder and COO of Votifi.com, an online
platform for political engagement that uses innovative polling techniques to
engage with the increasingly mobile population of American voters. He is also a Senior Fellow with
Access, where he advises on issues pertaining to the relationship between human
rights, technology and the Internet.
Aasil has broad expertise
in media, technology and politics with a focus on developing
strategies to overcome media censorship and bias in undemocratic environments. He has
worked on campaigns in Malaysia, Turkey and the Philippines. He was also co-founder of
ElectionMall Malaysia, Southeast Asia’s first dedicated provider of software
services for campaigns and elections.
