Laura Britton serves the Truman National Security Project as Press Secretary, conducting media outreach and working closely with Fellows and Partners. Previous to this role, she was Press Secretary for Operation Free, Truman's energy and climate advocacy effort. Before joining Truman, Laura worked in the communications office of the Democratic National Committee and at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France.  A proud native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Davis with a dual B.A. in International Relations and Economics.
