Justin Ford serves as the Truman Project’s Veterans Director and works closely with the advocacy, political, and policy staff.  From 2001 - 2004, Justin served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Combat Engineer in the 20th Engineer Brigade. During the Kosovo conflict, Justin participated in NATO peacekeeping missions and later served as an NCO during both the invasion of Iraq and the following year. He has also worked extensively on local, state, and federal electoral campaigns, including the election of President Obama. Additionally, Justin has worked with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in Washington DC as well as in his home state of Florida to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT). During his free time, Justin works with veteran service organizations fighting for our Veterans.
