Frankie Sturm
Frankie's major responsibilities include writing Truman Project publications, putting Truman Fellows in the media, and conducting training sessions on the nexus between communications and national security. He spent two years in France as an English instructor and a free-lance translator/tutor, and worked as a field organizer for the Gary Trauner for Congress campaign in 2008. He holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has appeared on Air America and XM Sirius Radio, and his writings and commentary on foreign affairs and U.S. politics have appeared in the The Philadelphia Inquirer, Mother Jones, The Huffington Post, The Hill, Foreign Policy in Focus, Wired's Danger Room, The Peoria Journal Star and several other publications throughout the United States. He continues to teach English to the immigrant community of Washington, DC.
